What’s Your Go-To Coffee Order?

There’s nothing quite like an iced cold coffee on an especially slow morning, am I right? Even though I am a morning person through and through and don’t necessarily need coffee to get going, I find myself craving an iced coffee pretty much every day. Sure, there are days that I am off to a slow start and need coffee to get me going, but most days, I just crave the taste. For years, I drank shitty coffee. YUP, shitty coffee. You mine as well call it milk with a little bit of coffee mixed in. Extra cream, extra sugar – ya know, the stuff that *really* doesn’t do anything for you and your motivation. Over the years, my coffee palate has matured tenfold and I will now pretty much drink any kind of coffee, minus made-at-home coffee.

I know, I know.

No matter what the weather is like (blizzards and all), you bet your bottom dollar that I am refusing to drink made-at-home coffee and on my way to the closest Dunkin’ or Starbucks to get an iced coffee. It’s truly a problem but I have accepted it as a problem and I’m working on it.

There are still days on occasion that I do drink a caramel swirl iced coffee with cream and sugar from Dunkin’ but most days I drink cold brew (or nitro cold brew), black. I honestly never thought I’d see the day that I would be drinking black coffee.

I’m basically a bona fide adult now, right?

If I’m not drinking cold brew (or my Dunks iced coffee for a sugary kick!), my other go-to orders are:

  • Medium roast coffee with almond milk and toffee nut (hot or iced, Starbucks)
  • Latte
  • Hot coffee, black

Since I’m not ready to kick my expensive coffee habit quite yet, I mine as well give some new coffee shops and orders a try – right??? Even though I tend to order the same coffee most days, I do try to order something different if I’m checking out a new coffee spot. When we were in SLC, I had the most delicious bourbon caramel latte and crave it pretty much every day.

So tell me, are you a coffee drinker? What’s your go-to order?

I am totally a coffee drinker! I’m with you and I’m all for the taste. But the boost of caffeine is helpful haha! I love exploring new coffee shops around the neighborhood. It’s fun to taste and see how different they all can be!

I’m actually not much of a coffee drinker – I can’t stand the taste but as I get older my body craves caffeine so I usually opt for those deliciously sweet coffees that are definitely not healthy. OR, I opt for a diet coke!

I’m more of a tea drinker (can’t have coffee anymore anyway), but I had a really great chocolate coffee in NYC a few months ago. It was a custom order so I have no idea what it was haha!

If I’m going to Starbucks, I usually get a peppermint mocha or french vanilla iced coffee. But lately, I’ve been obsessed with their S’mores Frappe and Iced Passionfruit Lemonade Tea.

It depends on where I’m going, but my go-to coffee when I go to Starbucks (since it’s pretty close to where I work and I have the app) is a venti, iced latte with four pumps of peppermint syrup, 3 splendas and almond milk or 2% milk. I order it through the app so it sounds less pretentious, haha. I like it because it low cal, but also gives me a fresh minty finish so it’s refreshing to drink! Been getting that for almost a year now and haven’t looked back since!

I’m such a coffee fiend, but I really only drink iced (even in winter). This has become a problem since moving to London because it’s not as popular here! I usually have to order an iced americano and then I add a dash of almond milk. I miss cold brew so much lol!

I’m an iced coffee drinker, regardless of the seasons! I love a Starbucks iced caramel coffee with almond milk and half the amount of classic.

So unfortunately I am not a coffee drinker. I can’t stand the taste or even the smell of coffee. Lucky for me, my husband is the exact same. I always just say we haven’t grown up yet haha. I do love going to coffee shops though and trying different teas and smoothies.
