I am a firm believer that a good sweater is a must in any wardrobe, especially living in New England, even for the spring and summer months. They’re easy to throw on with a dress, shorts, or jeans on an unexpectedly cool day or after the sun sets in the evening. Plus, they’re way chicer and tie together an outfit so much better than your standard zip up or hoodie.
Now that it’s getting warmer out, I’m excited to be able to style my favorite sweaters, sans jacket, for running errands, meeting friends, or grabbing a quick drink. My favorite way to style a good sweater? With a great pair of high waisted jeans and pumps! Simple, easy, classic. Who doesn’t love an outfit you can wear year after year without it going out of style!?
The $20 Sweater You Need ASAP
After dipping my toes into the amazingness that is H&M sweaters a few years ago, I always look forward to scrolling through their new arrivals and adding a new sweater or two to my collection. When I stumbled across this $20 beauty, I knew I had to have it and it’s now one of the most functional sweaters in my wardrobe. It has an oversized fit and it’s made from a soft, cozy material, perfect for those cold days but it’s also not too heavy, so it’s great to wear on crisp mornings as well.
