If you’re on Instagram and follow any content creators, Sarah Flint is a shoe brand that you’re most likely familiar with. I was gifted a pair of the 85mm Perfect Pumps (read my full review here!) back in early 2021 and immediately fell in love with the brand. I knew I wanted to add another pair of Sarah Flint shoes into my rotation but wanted something a little more practical for everyday wear and after lusting over the Natalie Flat for longer than I’d like to admit, I have finally added them to my rotation. They are so chic and the perfect pair of shoes to wear once the weather gets warm enough, and can be styled with just about anything in your closet. Never mind the fact that they are SO well crafted! They are an investment but they are a pair of flats you’ll have for years to come.
Sarah Flint Natalie Flat Review
About Sarah Flint
Passionate about women’s shoes that are as comfortable as they are stylish, Sarah Flint launched her shoe brand in 2013 with the goal of creating a brand that was elegant on the outside and comfortable on the inside. Sarah Flint now has a cultivated celebrity following and her shoes have been worn by Amal Clooney, Meghan Markle, Cindy Crawford, and Lady Gaga just to name a few! If they’re wearing her shoes, they HAVE to be good.
The thing I love about Sarah Flint shoes is that the entire collection is handcrafted in Italy by artisans that make some of the finest shoes in the world. Sarah herself studied shoe pattern making and production and you can tell by the quality of the shoes. No detail was missed! Plus, they’re all sold direct to consumer, making the pricing much more affordable than what it would be if they were sold at retailers like Nordstrom, Saks, etc.
What Sets the Natalie Flat Apart
Sarah Flint went above and beyond with her Natalie Flat! It’s a chic, classic flat but the quality is what really takes it to the next level. Here’s what sets it apart from other flats.
- An extra 3 mm of padding for increased comfort.
- Leather outsole with rubber forepart to prevent slipping.
- An asymmetrical bowl that is unique and adds feminine detailing.
- Refined vamp that reveals just the right amount of toe cleavage.
Sarah Flint Perfect Pump Sizing
The Sarah Flint website does say that the Natalie Flat does run true to size with the initial fit being comfortably snug, but will stretch in width with wear. I typically wear a size 6.5/7 (SF is European sizing – there’s a size chart on the website) but when it comes to anything with a pointy toe, I always size up half a size so I went with a 37 (size 7!) and they fit perfectly.
The Sarah Flint Natalie Flat is such a gorgeous shoe and is perfect for everyday wear, especially for commuting to work or exploring the city (once broken in). The leather on the Natalie Flat is quite stiff so I had to wear them a few times around the house with thick socks to stretch them out enough to avoid any blisters. Once they’re broken in, they’re a pair of flats you’ll have for years to come!
