From the second you get engaged to the day after your wedding, there are countless decisions a bride will make revolving around her wedding day. From finding a venue, selecting vendors, and deciding on an overall look and feel to all of the little details in between, it can feel like all you do for however long your engagement lasts, is make decisions. These are all normal parts of wedding planning that everyone talks about, but there are plenty of little details that directly impact the bride and how they look and feel on their wedding day. How you’re going to style your hair. What shoes you’re going to wear. What your dress looks like.
One detail that always gets forgotten about until the last minute? Your nails!
From the time you get engaged until after your wedding day is over, people are constantly going to be asking to see your ring and your hands are going to be photographed more than you ever thought possible. If you’re not someone that regularly has their nails painted (hi, it’s me), the thought of making sure your nails look good at all times all of a sudden might be anxiety-inducing. Deep breaths. Over the last few months, I’ve become a neutral nail polish connoisseur and I’m here to share the best options for all of your upcoming wedding events.
Neutral Nail Polish Colors for Brides
Baby Take a Vow
This is my absolute favorite neutral and is the one I wear most often! It’s the perfect barely there color with a hint of pink, perfect for every day or for events. I wore this color for our engagement photos (wearing above!) and love that it made my nails look elevated without drawing in the eye.
Topless & Barefoot
If you want a polish that’s neutral and barely there but with a little more “pop” Topless & Barefoot is a great option! This beige nude is stunning and looks so good against white.
Hike It Up
This mid-tone neutral tan has yellow undertones and dries on the creamery side, giving it more of an olivey clay look. Love this one as a pop of “color” for a bachelorette or everyday wear!
Cosmo-Not Tonight Honey!
I’m not usually one for shimmery nail polishes but this one is so good! It’s the perfect champagne color with a hint of shimmer and will really help your ring shine. Love this color for an engagement party.
The OG neutral nail polish! Bubble Bath has been my go-to for years, especially when it comes to big events (fun fact: the first time I ever had a manicure was in second grade in preparation for my first communion and this is the color I chose!). It’s neutral, has some pink tones, and is basically your nails but better.
This light tan is absolutely stunning! Perfect for all of your bridal events, it’s a fun barely there color that isn’t just your average light pink. It also has a white base to it so it’s a true tan.
