Happy Monday, peeps!
I hope you all had a nice, relaxing weekend! My weekend was pretty quiet – Saturday morning I went for a blow out while Chris was at the gym and met him after for brunch at The Met Back Bay, which was delicious! Since the weather was in our favor (warm and 40 degrees!), we opted for a quick stroll after eating and stopped into Interior Define and Restoration Hardware before heading home. Saturday night, we went with Chris’ family (parents, siblings, and wives/husbands) to see The Illusionists at the Emerson Colonial Theatre. We had an absolutely blast and it was so great to catch up with everyone! Since yesterday was pretty crappy, we opted for a quiet day complete with meal prepping (him) and binge-watching TV (me).
Now that we’re halfway through March (and we’re expecting temperatures between the high 40’s to high 50’s this week!!!), I feel like we’re finally out of the woods and the spring weather is right around the corner. I’m psyched to start putting away my heavy jackets and not need anything else other than a light jacket when heading to work. Who’s with me?! 🙋🏼♀️
My winter uniform is pretty simple (some sort of top and skinny jeans), so once the nicer weather rolls around, I’m itching to switch it. Whether it’s a fun a pair of shoes or a silky blouse, it’s nice to not have to wear boots and a heavy jacket constantly.
One of my favorite pieces to style once the weather gets nicer? Mom jeans.
My Favorite Way to Style Mom Jeans
Whether I pair them with a cute pair of sandals and a tee or a silky cami and heels for GNO, it’s just not warm enough to be be giving up layering all together. Whether I’m heading to the office or grabbing drinks, a good pair of mom jeans always looks killer with a great collared shirt (my favorite and 15% off!), fun jacket, and your favorite pair of shoes.

When I do style my mom jeans with a button down shirt, I prefer to keep it casual and the easiest way to do that? Tie it up! It’s fun, easy, and shows off the mom jean butt. Win-win-win.
Looking for a cute button down to pair with your mom jeans? I’m loving these ones!
Are you a fan of the mom jean trend?
