Once summer rolls around, one of my absolute favorite materials to wear is linen. It’s light weight, it’s breathable, and it just looks summery. I wasn’t always a fan of linen, though. I definitely avoided it for the longest time thinking the fabric would be scratchy (not the case) and since I’m not the best at taking care of my clothes, I was worried that I’d ruin anything that was linen.
Thankfully, I’ve not only picked up a few tips (more like a few hundred) for taking better care of my clothing from Chris, but I’ve also learned that linen is WAY more durable than you would think. I love that stains can easily come out of it and I can just throw whatever the item is right into the wash without worrying and hang it to try. I love how fast linen dries, too. Makes things less stressful when you’re in a pinch!
Most of the linen clothing I’ve owned in the past have either been tops or dresses so when I saw these linen pants, I knew I had to have them! For under $50, they quality is really great and they come in regular, tall, and petite which is ideal. I opted for the petite version and while they are a little long, I just cuff them up once and they still look great. I also ordered them in black, which I also love! I do have to say that the black ones (same size – medium petite) are a little more cropped than the tan so I don’t have to cuff them.
