Between balancing my full-time job, blogging, and freelancing, once Tuesday afternoon rolls around, I’m typically ready for the weekend. I mean, who couldn’t say no to two full, uninterrupted days? No alarms (ok I might still get up before 8 but that’s not the point), boozy brunches, and all the Target runs your heart can handle.
When it comes to dressing for all of your weekend activities, you might want to wear something comfy for running errands, something cute for brunch, and your run-of-the-mill weekend outfit for everything in between. If you live in a city like I do, you know that half the time, you end up making last-minute plans with friends or stay out all day visiting museums and coffee shops you’ve never been to, with no time to get home to change and “get ready” for the day.
And don’t get me wrong, I am *all* for a shower-less visit to the grocery store at 9 AM, I just don’t want to unexpectedly end up at brunch with a ball of grease on top of my head in the leggings I slept in the night before. Ya feel me?
That’s why I love this outfit so much. Cozy sweatshirt for those weird “do I wear a jacket?” days, a stretchy pair of jeans to accommodate the growing food baby, and a comfy pair of sneaks. It looks put together but still comfy for all of your weekend errands.
My tunic sweater is currently on sale, plus an extra 40% off, making it under $40. It also comes in four different colors (I’m obsessed with the jade color!) and all of them are SO pretty for spring. It is super lightweight but very warm. The first day I wore it, I wore my parka with it and by the time I got to work I was sweating. Too many layers. 😂Don’t say I didn’t warn you!
