5 Things You May Not Know About Me

an easy classic outfit

I thought it would be fun to switch things up a bit and do a more “conversational” post and leave the style, beauty, and lifestyle posts a rest for today! And what better way to dip our toes into some personal content than to share five things you might not know about me?!

Let’s jump right in!

I have five tattoos – YUP, you read that right. I’ve placed each one of them strategically so that if I need to hide them, I can without stressing about the length of my sleeves, where my shoes hit, etc. If we’re being honest (which we are), they are all in areas you can really only see if I’m in a bathing suit, minus two of them which occasionally are spotted on the blog or social media, people are always surprised that I have any! Anyways, I have one on my left wrist (side), one on each rib, one on my upper right butt cheek (slash lower back — easier to understand if you saw it!), and one on my left foot.

Taco Bell is my weakness – I cannot freakin’ resist Taco Bell. If I pass one and don’t stop in, I basically think about it all day long. My go-to? Steak quesadilla and triple-layer nachos (hold the meat and red sauce, please!). My solution to a bad day? Wine and lots of Taco Bell!

I am the oldest – To be fair, there’s only two of us, making me the older sister! My brother and I are 5 1/2 years apart and I love him to freakin’ pieces, even when he calls me out for acting like a mom 🙄 He’s currently attending Suffolk University for computer science (so proud!) and he will be getting his first apartment in September, which is conveniently located two streets over from Chris and I’s place. To say I’m psyched is an understatement!!

I played tennis in high school – And I actually wasn’t too bad! Growing up, I cheerleaded but put that to rest right before high school and decided to take up tennis. I played doubles, had a pretty good serve, a great backhand, and loved the exercise. Sadly, I’ve only picked up a racquet once since graduating (8 years ago 😱) but would love to get back into it at some point!

I am *always* reading – I’ve been sharing more about my reading habits on the blog and social media lately, which has been so fun! I’ve always enjoyed reading and growing up would spend hours on end sitting under a tree reading a book, only moving to go to the bathroom or grab a snack. Even into my twenties, I’m always reading SOMETHING, always have a book near me (I honestly get anxious if I don’t have my current read in my purse or on my nightstand 😳) or have an audiobook playing!

What is something I may not know about YOU?

I want to see more of your tattoos! I know I’ve seen the one on your wrist, and maybe your foot – but probably not the others. I’m a sucker for a good tattoo. They’re my weakness and I’m dying for more (it’s been years since my last one). My husband worked at Taco Bell when we first met, so now I avoid it at all cost because I know the BTS of how everything is made haha. And girl you know I’m always reading as well!

I don’t think the others have been on the blog before! Or social media now that I think of it…. I don’t even want to know the BTS of Taco Bell! I would never eat it again lol
